Reporting directly to the KURDS site engineer, the Site Monitor will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of engineering works within the assigned area.

Position: Site Monitor in Hawija center and related sub-districts of Kirkuk Governorate
Location: Centre of the City of Hawija, Kirkuk Governorate

Contract Duration: 6 Months
Field Assessments and Project Design:
Participate in monitoring projects and conducting field assessments as required.
Supervision and Monitoring of Subcontracted Projects:
Implement thorough monitoring procedures to ensure compliance with donor Procurement and Finance Policy.
Supervise contracted projects to ensure work quality, adherence to specifications, and adherence to project timeframes.
Conduct surveying and data collection for proposed projects.
Identify technical support needs for proposed projects.
Measure achieved works by contractors and subcontractors.
Assist in project budgeting, bill of quantity, and implementation time frame.
Submit daily and weekly reports to the site engineer.
General:
Report project progress and achievements to KURDS site engineers on a daily basis.
Maintain daily records for each site detailing activities, obstacles, problems, and remarks.
Perform other duties as needed or requested.
Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar field.
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from diverse cultures and professional backgrounds.
